Hello! I’m Veronika Khakimova.
I’m a junior studying Game Art at Ringling College of Art and Design. My main focus is on concept art and visual development, where I love creating characters and worlds that feel full of life and story.
The majority of my inspiration comes from Dungeons & Dragons, more specifically, from the sessions I have with my friends and the RPG-based games that we play together. The collaborative storytelling and worldbuilding always spark new ideas for my art. I always feel so fulfilled when I come back to a session with different ideas and character designs for my friends and their characters. Seeing their real-time reaction fuels me to keep going to create art that people can resonate with and enjoy.
I’m very detail oriented and love doing research to make sure every design choice feels grounded and believable. Whether it’s studying costume references, creature anatomy, or cultural influences, I enjoy diving deep into the details that bring a world to life. My goal is to bring that same sense of creativity, depth, and storytelling into the games I work on by creating visually engaging, story-driven art that makes players want to explore every corner of the world.
